My guitars are a reflection of the time and attention I put into every detail, every step, going the extra mile to craft an instrument of delightful playability with a colorful, articulate voice, wide dynamic range and rich sustain.
To achieve these ends I start by selecting only the finest woods, chosen for the correct tonal properties as well as beauty and strength. For Flatpickers I recommend rosewood or mahogany with Sitka or Adirondak spruce tops in either the Small, Jumbo or Dreadnaught models. For fingerstyle or players with a lighter touch I recommend a rosewood Grand Auditorium with either cedar or Engelmann spruce. For a fingerstyle player who is a little more aggressive and may want medium strings, the recommendation would be Sitka.
